TORIC Marking
and
IOL Placement

TORIC IOL's are good options for patients with astigmatism. Astigmatism occurs when either the cornea or the lens within the eye has an imperfect curvature causing blurry or distorted vision. TORIC IOL'S help to correct astigmatism and improve vision.

TORIC lenses require special measurements by your Ophthalmologist prior to your surgery. These measurements ensure the lens is placed correctly, providing the best results for those with astigmatism.

Patients who receive the TORIC IOL are likely to require glasses after surgery.
